Sustainably harvested firewood on perpetually conserved land

In an effort to further our mission, the Atlantic Coast Conservancy, Inc. is now selling firewood that has been sustainably harvested from our 1,400 acre Potts Mountain site in Pickens County, Georgia. Not just firewood, mind you, but sustainably harvested firewood from perpetually conserved land. All of our wood products are then dried in our onsite solar powered kiln.

Ecosystem Service Benefits:

  • Sustainably harvested wood from from perpetually conserved land.
  • Wood is solar kiln dried for a clean burning fire.
  • Contains enough kiln-dried hardwood (Quercus sp., Carya sp.), Eastern cedar (Juniperus virginiana) fatwood kindling, Loblolly (Pinus taeda) pine cone fire starters,  and wooden matchsticks for hours of relaxation and stress relief.

Enjoy a clean burning, easy-to-light fire in your backyard, or take your Wolfscratch Firewood box with you camping, to the beach or the lake.
